Nabanita Hossain MD

Dr. Hossain received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and sociology from Hunter College. During her undergraduate years, she volunteered with organizations serving children in hospitals, which paved the way for her interest in medicine and pediatrics. She attended medical school at Georgetown University, where she developed her interest in health justice, legislative advocacy, and nutrition, as well as her love of Northern Virginia!
The next chapter of her training took her to New York City, where she completed her pediatrics residency at Columbia University. During her residency, Dr. Hossain focused on community advocacy and nutrition education. Upon completing her residency in June 2024, she has moved back to Northern Virginia to start her career as an outpatient pediatrician at Reston Town Center Pediatrics.
