We are honored that you are considering RTC Pediatrics for your child’s care. We are accepting new patients ages 0 to 18 years of age. If you child is over 4 months old, please call our office to schedule a new patient well check. Appointment availability may vary based on demand. We continue to have daily slots available for all newborn patients up to 4 months old.

We believe that all children should receive the recommended vaccines according to the schedule provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the CDC. Read our complete vaccine policy.
We participate with most major insurance plans. However, please review this list of exceptions. Contact your insurance company or call us with any questions.
Please complete and submit our New Patient Forms electronically. Our New Patient Coordinator will reach out to you about your scheduling needs within 3-5 business days. We need your child(rens) Medical Records prior to the first Well Visit. Please contact your current physician’s office to Release Records to RTC Pediatrics. The process can take up to 30 days. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete any outstanding paperwork and provide your Insurance Card for scanning.

We want to meet you! Please join us for our Prenatal Introductory Class, where we cover what you need to know for the first few months of parenthood, including what to expect at the hospital and how to care for a newborn. These classes are held in our office, but we offer a virtual meeting once a month.
Join us as we tell you what makes Reston Town Center different from other pediatric practices, how our office works, and answer many of the questions you may have. We will also verify that we accept your insurance. This 60-75 minute class will leave you feeling more confident and prepared for your new addition. When you go to the hospital in labor, simply tell your obstetrician and the hospital staff that you have chosen RTC Pediatrics as your child’s pediatrician.
If you deliver at Reston Hospital Center, the hospital staff will notify us of your baby’s birth. If you deliver at another hospital, please contact our office upon discharge to schedule your baby’s first visit. The hospital staff will give you a copy of the baby’s discharge paperwork; bring it with you to the first visit and we will have everything we need to know about your baby’s first few days.
With its many benefits for babies, breast milk is recognized by the American Academy of Pediatrics as the Gold Standard for infant nutrition. Our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants are available to help you and your newborn accomplish comfortable feedings. We also offer follow-up office visits or phone consults as needed.
